The Iced Cherry Chai offers a fresh twist on Starbucks’ classic Iced Chai Latte. This new drink blends black tea infused with cinnamon, clove, and warming spices, mixed with milk and ice, and topped with cherry cream cold foam and cherry crunch topping.
Billy Altieri, Starbucks’ lead beverage developer, described the new drink as a perfect balance of flavors. “With every sip, you get a creamy texture, warm spices, and hints of cherry—it all comes together in an approachable way,” he said in a press release.
In addition to beverages, Starbucks is introducing the Jalapeño Chicken Pocket as a permanent menu item. Offering a bold, savory option for customers looking for a flavorful snack.
Lavender Drinks Return for Spring
Starbucks is reintroducing fan-favorite lavender beverages just in time for spring. Alongside the new Iced Cherry Chai, customers can enjoy several lavender-infused drinks for a limited time:
- Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha: A smooth matcha blend with oatmilk, served over ice and topped with lavender cream cold foam.
- Iced Lavender Latte: Starbucks Blonde Espresso combined with oatmilk, ice, and floral lavender notes; also available hot.
- Lavender Crème Frappuccino Blended Beverage: A mix of lavender, vanilla syrup, milk, and ice, topped with whipped cream.
For added customization, Starbucks now offers Cherry Cream Cold Foam and Lavender Cream Cold Foam. Customers can enhance almost any drink with these new flavors while supplies last.
Jalapeño Chicken Pocket Joins Permanent Menu
The Jalapeño Chicken Pocket is Starbucks’ latest addition to its permanent food menu. This new savory option features diced chicken, charred poblanos, green jalapeños, three-chile-pepper cheese, and jalapeño cream cheese, all wrapped in toasted chile lavash flatbread.
For a limited time, customers ordering a breakfast sandwich, wrap, egg bites, baked goods, lunch sandwich, or pocket can receive a free packet of Truff Original or Jalapeño Lime Hot Sauce. The offer is available for in-store, drive-thru, Starbucks app, and delivery orders.
